Her outstanding achievements have landed her among Who’s Who in Professional and Executive Women and awarded her the Mayor’s Trail Blazer Award for outstanding service to the District of Columbia in coordinating City Services, when she served under Mayor Anthony Williams as Senior Deputy Corporation Counsel totally re-organizing the way the District of Columbia District Attorney’s office approached affirmative litigation. Anderson has also had a stellar teaching career, and has served as Director and Associate Professor of Law at Howard University, Visiting Associate Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center in the Criminal Justice Clinic and the Prettyman Fellowship Program, and is currently a Lecturer of Law at Harvard University in the Trial Advocacy Department. Anderson is currently serving as the General Counsel and Community Development Coordinator at the Temple of Praise under the leadership of Bishop Dr. She has worked as the Executive Director of Way of the Word, CDC overseeing the establishment, development, and operations of the New Day I Transitional House for Homeless Women and Children, and New Day III Independent Living Program for Families and Veterans.
